Deburring/Radiussing Machined Components - Inside and Out
Applications for Deburring/Radiussing Machined Components - Inside and Out

Three different techniques; Three different deburring results
Dorner Engineering provide a variety of processes based on Electro-Chemical Deburring (ECD), Electro-Chemical Machining (ECM) and now the revolutionary Precision Elector-Chemical Machining (PECM) principles. Controlled deburring, specific edge radius generation, precise metal removal, 2- and 3-dimensional surface machining, controlled surface finish, all repeatable and all without altering surface structures or staining.
The Iowa Engineered Processes technique uses a vibrating media to deburr and clean. In the IEPC range it is the component that is vibrated and not the media which causes the media to act as a high energy fluid, flowing around and through the work. Deburring, de-sanding and cleaning can be measured in terms of seconds rather than hours, as a result; with inherent improvements in surface and edge quality.
